Greenbelt SA Select Teams
Greenbelt Soccer Alliance supports selected/travel teams (ones that require a tryout) at ages no younger than U11. Prior to this age, following USSF best practice guidelines, we enter teams exclusively in the pure recreational, small-sided soccer league hosted by Prince Georges Soccer Initiative (PGSI) in Hyattsville. After U11 we support both selected and pure recreational teams. The selected teams have access to such leagues as the Anne Arundel Youth Soccer Association, the Baltimore Beltway Soccer League and the National Capital Soccer League depending on team skill level and desire. Pure recreational teams have access to PGSI up to grade 8 and the Takoma Soccer League for higher grades.
