Jan 26, 2013: Greenbelt Soccer Alliance has partnered with SoccerSource360.
Sept 8, 2012: Fall seasons begin in the PGSI and Takoma leagues. This season includes professionally run clinics for all teams as well as the Ice Cream Juggling Challenge!
July 26, 2012: Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Greenbelt Recreation Department, the Greenbelt Boys and Girls Club and Greenbelt Soccer Alliance.
July 9, 2012: Summer soccer at Mandan field in Greenbelt begins, offering a great opportunity for local players to stay active during the summer!
June, 2012: Three GSA coaches receive the E License from MSYSA. This course involves two full days of training and qualifies them to coach an MSYSA travel team.
June 4, 2012: Clinic at Mandan field led by Golden Boot Soccer and members of the Maryland Capitols Women's soccer team for 3rd-6th grade GSA players.
May 26, 2012: Two affiliated GSA girls teams take 1st and 2nd places in the Takoma 4v4 SoccerFest tournament.
Feb 21, 2012: GSA officially recognized by the IRS as a tax exempt charity in the State of Maryland.
Nov 12-13, 2011: Three GSA supported teams were very successful in the Beltsville Harvest classic tournament at High Point High School. All teams made it to their respective championship games. The 10UG team placed 2nd, the 12UG won 1st place and the 14UG came in 2nd. Great job teams!
June 1, 2011: Greenbelt Soccer Alliance joins Maryland State Youth Soccer Association which is a member of US Youth Soccer Association, the largest youth sports organization in the US. This makes GSA a member of the US national soccer organization USSF (that sponsors the World Cup teams) as well!
March 18, 2011: Greenbelt Soccer Alliance donates soccer equipment to the Springhill Lake Elementary School Aftercare program. Soccer activities will now be a regular component of the Aftercare program at Springhill Lake Elementary. Thank you letters received from Springhill Lake Elementary children.
Nov 18, 2010: Greenbelt Soccer Alliance is incorporated as a non-profit in the State of Maryland.
