Recreational Program Curriculum
Our recreational soccer program includes the services of a professional trainer at one of the weekly practices. This season we welcome Dallas Sava as our professional trainer. Dallas holds the USSF National D License and has worked with players from early grade school through high school. For our curriculum, we will be using the practice plans developed by the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association. These are excellent plans that follow the recommended "Play-Practice-Play" training model.

- Players develop a great understanding of their ability to go forward within their ever-expanding abilities while at the same time not forcing the ball into a turnover or bad situation. (i.e. they learn when to penetrate/when to possess)
- Defenders understand when to win the ball and when to delay the attack
- Players are encouraged to play through the defensive lines
- Players are encouraged to excel and have a "no fear of failure" attitude when it comes to an attacking mindset
- Players learn to make their decisions according to the principles of play
- A culture of possession is created as opposed to a culture of territory
