GotSoccer Registration Instructions

To register for any of our Greenbelt Soccer Alliance, you must first set up a Family Account with gotsoccer.com. This enters you into the national database of gotsoccer.com. After entering all your contact and emergency information into your Family Account, you connect your account with Greenbelt Soccer Alliance and then you can see our programs. Below are the detailed instructions for accomplishing this. If you have a Family Account, you can go to instructions "B" below.

A-If you do not have a Family Account on GotSoccer

  1. Go to the gotsoccer main page at gotsoccer.com. In the upper right, click on user login, then under Players and Families, click on login again. On the next page, click on Create Your Family Account.
  2. Now create a new account by entering in your contact information. choose a username and password and note it down. You will use it frequently. (If you forget it, there is an easy recovery mechanism). 
  3. Near the bottom of the next screen, click "Add Player to Family", then click Create New Player on the next screen. 
  4. Create full record for your player. You may create a separate username and password for this player account or have the system generate one for you. We suggest that you use the parent email address for your player. That way emails regarding the player are addressed to the parent.  If you would like emails concerning this player to go to a different email address, enter that other email address here. You may enter your home county for the School District. Anticipated Graduation Year from High School is also helpful. 
  5. On the next screen,please take the time to review and amend the Emergency Contact Information before moving on. When done, click save. Then on the left hand side click again on the Player tab. At the bottom click Return to List.
  6. You are now in the national database of gotsoccer. At this point, you have to tell them that you want to see programs offered by Greenbelt Soccer Alliance. So search for our organization name and select it. And then go back to your family account page.
  7. At this point, under the player name "Current Programs" box, click "Register Now". 
    DO NOT CLICK "Click Here to go directly to the Registration Form"
  8. Register your player for the desired program. You will pay for each player separately. 
  9. Click "Family Home"
  10. Repeat for all of your players. 

B - If you already have a Family Account on GotSoccer, with all player information entered

  1. Go to the gotsoccer main page at gotsoccer.com. In the upper right, click on user login, then under Players and Families, click on login again using your usr and pw information. There is an account information recovery feature if you forget your information.
  2. You should already have linked to Greenbelt Soccer Alliance. If not please search for us and link to our organization. Then after Login, you will see your players listed at the bottom of the page. Under each player's information, you can click "Register Now" to get started with that players registration. DO NOT CLICK "Click Here to go directly to the Registration Form"
  3. Register your player for the event/program/class/league/payment/etc. You will pay for each player separately.
  4. Click "Family Home"
  5. Repeat for all of the players you want to register
